Fox Crossing is a village in Winnebago County, Wisconsin, United States. It was incorporated from the former Town of Menasha.[1][2]

History

After the area's residents approved a referendum to incorporate, the village was incorporated on April 20, 2016. It was created from land formerly belonging to the town of Menasha west of Little Lake Butte des Morts.[3][4]

On August 17, 2016, an agreement was reached between the Village of Fox Crossing and the remaining Town of Menasha to annex all remaining Town of Menasha lands to Fox Crossing. This agreement would effectively end the existence of the Town of Menasha, on a timeline "on or as soon after the (agreement) as practical".[5] On September 22, 2016, the remaining parts of the town of Menasha became part of the village of Fox Crossing.[6]
