Mark E. Eberhart is an author and a professor of chemistry & geochemistry at the Colorado School of Mines.[1]
Eberhart holds a B.S. in chemistry and in applied mathematics at the University of Colorado, an M.S. in physical biochemistry at the University of Colorado, and a Ph.D. in materials science and engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.[2] He has published two books; Why Things Break (2003), an autobiographical book describing his education and his studies of stress and fracture[3] and Feeding the Fire (2007).[4]
