SportsHero is the world's first social network dedicated to sports prediction. [1][2] The platform transforms the way fans engage with sport by tapping into the knowledge of these fans and giving them the power to predict the right outcomes in sports games. [3]

The prediction platform is currently focused on Football (soccer) and cricket, and will add cycling in 2018. [4][5]

SportsHero is available as a mobile download for both iOS and Android devices. [6]

It uses virtual currency through SportsHero Points and Golden Tickets[7][8].

Background

SportsHero is headquartered in Singapore and was founded in 2016 by MyHero Pte Ltd. [9][10][11]SportsHero is based on the same model as TradeHero, a social investment network founded in 2013. Tom Lapping is SportsHero’s current CEO. [12][13]

In October 2017, SportsHero launched an enhanced brand identity and user experience. It upgraded the app to offer a free to play model for users across key markets whilst providing a pay to play model. [14][15]

SportsHero has been working to build a robust amalgamated community size of one billion people by combining the communities of its affiliates (social platforms, B2B and B2C brands and professional sports teams) to create a large community of sports fans who come together to play sports games, consume content and interact with ambassadors and personalities.[16]

Partnerships and agreements

On June 6, 2016, SportsHero announced a partnership with YuuZoo Corp, a Singapore-based social e-commerce network.[17][18][19] The partnership will allow YuuZoo users to access SportsHero’s social prediction platform.[20][21]
