Tuvalu Order of Merit

The Tuvalu Order of Merit is an order of merit of Tuvalu. It was founded in 1 October 2016, on the 38th anniversary of Tuvalan independence.

Discussion of award
British newspaper Daily Express reported in 2017 that the award was to be given to Prince William and his wife Catherine Middleton in recognition of their visit to Tuvalu as part of the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.[1]
