EAGLES Academy Central High School was a public high school located in Hollywood, Los Angeles, designed for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender young people, as well as those questioning their sexuality. It was founded in 1995 under the "Educational Options" program by the LAUSD and closed in 2004.

History

EAGLES Academy Central High School was a public high school run by the department of "Educational Options" of the Los Angeles Unified school district (LAUSD). It was supervised by Ruben Zacarias, the superintendent of schools, Elizabeth Newman, options administrator, and Sunshine S. Sepulveda, Educational Advisor to LAUSD. Founder and principal of the school was Jerry Battey.
