Pictures

User:Surtsicna: Thanks for uploading his picture. However, you also removed a picture of his (former) owners and their house (where he lived even after emancipation). Perhaps we could include them all in the article?Zigzig20s (talk) 19:16, 10 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I do not have anything against those pictures per se, but I think that there is not enough space in the article to fit both the infoboxes and three images. Less is often more. Getting rid of the infobox would free up enough space, however. Surtsicna (talk) 19:24, 10 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
No, the infobox is always a good option. There is space on my screen for two additional pictures. Maybe not on a smaller screen?Zigzig20s (talk) 19:27, 10 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'm using 1600 X 900. It looks very crowded with two more images. Infoboxes in articles this small do not really do much; all the info can be glanced over without any scrolling. I suppose File:PolkPlace.jpg could fit into the Personal life, death and legacy section, though I am not sure if it is relevant there (Polk Place is not mentioned in it).
