Viacheslav Georgievich Borshchev (born January 8, 1992, Volgograd, Russia) — is a Russian kickboxer. World champion. Master of sports of international class. Multiple winner of Russian and international K-1 competitions.

Early Life

Viacheslav Georgievich Borshchev was born in Volgograd, Russia. Mother — Melkomukova Yulia Vyacheslavovna. Father — Borshchev Georgi Ivanovich. Since 2010 worked as a an instructor in State Public Institution of the Volgograd Region of Additional Education for Children "Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve". He is engaged in tactical and technical training of Russian and international level athletes. In 2014 he graduated from FGKOUPO "Volgograd Academy of the Ministry of the Interior of Russia" majoring in law.

Amateur career

  • Winner of the European Championship 2009, Croatia, Pula, in the weight category up to 63.5 kg, section K-1.

Personal life

He is married to Maria Alexandrovna Borshcheva[1], and the couple has a daughter, Maya Vyacheslavovna Borshcheva[2].
