Ronald Mason Jr. is an African-American academic administrator. He has served as the president of the University of the District of Columbia since 2015.
Early life
Mason was born in New Orleans, Louisiana.[1] He graduated from Columbia University, where he earned a bachelor's degree, followed by a master's degree.[2][3]
Career
Mason worked at Tulane University for 18 years.[2] He served as the president of Jackson State University from 2000 to 2010.[3][2] He served as the president of Southern University. Since 2015, he has served as the president of the University of the District of Columbia.[3][4]
