Bible John is the nickname of an unidentified serial killer who operated in Glasgow, Scotland, in the 1960s. He murdered three women he picked up in bars, their strangled bodies being found dumped in doorways.

The nickname came about because a witness overheard him talking to one victim, and apparantly he gave his first name as John and quoted heavily from the Bible.
