Polish speed limits

Speed limits in Poland vary depending on the type of road and the type and weight of the vehicle:[1][2]

Built-up areas (day) Built-up areas (night) Residential areas Motorways Other roads
Cars and motorcycles 50 60 20 120 90
Heavy goods vehicles (> 3.5 t) 50 60 20 80 70
Buses 50 60 20 80 70
Cars and vans with trailers 50 60 20 80 70

The night speed limit applies from 23:00 to 5:00. The limits shown above apply unless otherwise stated, as road signs may prescribe a lower or a higher speed limit (e.g. limits of 70 km/h or higher can be found on urban expressways).
