Broadcasting at the frequency of 105.9 FM, in Orlando, Florida, WOCL is a major station in the Central Florida radio market. Known colloquially as "O-Rock," the station can be heard not only in the Orlando area, but also as far away as the Space Coast, Brevard County, and the eastern shores of Central Florida, to the north the station can be heard up to Palatka, about 1 hour south of Jacksonville in Putnam County.

This radio station adheres to the New Rock/Alternative format. Like most of the stations that follow this format, however, the majority of the songs they play are actually from the 1990's. Indeed "O-Rock" often dedicates entire weekends to playing "Old School Alternative" songs (songs from the 1990's).

Personalities/Programs

Morning After Show (6am-10am) — The morning slot has been in a state of flux since the departure of Howard Stern from their lineup. The show tries desperately to recapture the magic of host Drew Garabo's successful night-time show on WTKS, only without the accompanying ratings. The addition of Sexy Savannah to the cast is hoped to improve the condition of the show. The ratings, however, have shown mild if any improvement.

The Afternoon Binge (3pm-6pm) is the afternoon drive program, featuring the station's program director, Bobby Smith and former evening host and Morning After Show co-host Mel Taylor.

Jody & Scott Show (6pm-10pm) Music and talk. Jody & Scott take random topics to the extreme. This show is quickly becoming one of Orlando's hottest radio shows.

Loveline (10pm-12am): WOCL hosts this syndicated radio program. Legend has it, people actually listen to, and enjoy this program. Merely conjecture, however.

'Overnights (12am-5:30am): Music with Criminal Ben.

NOTE: In a series of unfortunate events perpetuated by Bobby Smith and Ben Hale (who gets black eyes from girls, and reacharounds from Jody and Scott) the overnight DJ, Gary Holmes, has recently departed ways with WOCL. Gary was and is a great DJ and a very knowledgable person. We wish Gary the best in his future endeavors.

The Flip Rumor

The Rumor: Gary Holmes was to old to be a overnight DJ and thus was fired from WOCL.
