Christianity and pandeism

Relations between the Catholic Church and Pandeism have historically largely been critical, with the Church condemning the early pandeistic thought of John Scotus Eriugena as heretical.

Various Catholic thinkers have since generally disputed the theological premises of Pandeism, but some within the Church have also attempted to use Pandeism as an umbrella under which to bring other religions closer to Catholicism.
