Split?

I think it should be spilt into two articles.. Do you aggre? --eddie 20:43, 14 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, and this page is wayyyyy too long as well. It really needs to be condensed heavily. There are much more important shows that don't have a tenth of what this article has. Shame. 68.180.1.141 21:46, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I did a rather quick job of spliting them up. --[eddie] - pure ginger 06:30, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think the split was necessary; the page was much shorter after removing all of the fancruft. Ckessler 06:52, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Whittydw, stop readding information that was removed during cleanup. You are welcome to edit, but this is the second time I've asked you to stop reverting. I will seek admin intervention if you continue. Ckessler 16:47, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Whittydw here what are you gonna do about it mate im only trying to make it a good site. Itidyed the ste up making teams in the british and amerivan sections ive made countless edits go have a look what it was like before i first edited smart arse. Whittydw

Your "useful edits" were copyvio in addition to just being annoying. You have been warned on your talk page and here. Knock it off. Ckessler 15:31, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Gastric Bypass

It's not true that Carnie Wilson (Season 4 U.S. version) will be the first contestant to have had gastric bypass. Ralphie May (Season 1 U.S. version) has had it. Several sentences under "Season 4" need to be edited or taken out to make an accurate statement. 24.99.184.158 04:31, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Using Nicknames

I found the use of nicknames and/or first names only difficult to follow. Such as the use of "Ant" in the season three discussion about Jeff Conaway as well as only using the first name to start off the discussion about "Jeffs Exit" and then no qualification as to which jeff is being discussed (Jeff Rudom?) until the section where the individual in question refers to himself as "Jeff Conaway". Who is Ant anyway?I already forgot 11:58, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, people should be referred to by their last name, which seems to be the general style. Will try and correct them. Ckessler 02:17, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Ant" is the complete stage name of the host; therefore, the reference to him is accurate. Doc502 16:09, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Speculation and Formatting

I noticed that, in the section concerning US Season 4, alternative cast members to what has been officially announced on the VH1 site have been added, in a very confusing method. Also, the source from which this list was lifted has confirmed that one person that it speculated on is actually dead. Perhaps this should be removed completely for the official cast list? Wyldphyre 18:00, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to go ahead and remove it. If someone needs to re-enter it, then they should do it in a table format. Wyldphyre 18:12, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Season 5

I added a "Citation Needed" to the Season 5 section. Is there any official release that states that these will, indeed, be the contestants on the next season? If so, it needs to be added here for cross-referencing purposes. --ClintFord 15:18, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Split discussion (again)?

I'd like to reintroduce the idea of splitting the article into two: one for the British version, a second for the American version. I'll cite a couple of examples of British shows remade in the US that might serve as good reference points:

In the case of Celebrity Fit Club, both versions of the series have been successful and - I would argue - deserve their own pages. Doc502 16:22, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
