Mach Pelican are a punk rock band based in Melbourne, Australia. The band was formed by three Japanese students who were studying in Perth. They toured around Australia playing many gigs, until they chose Melbourne to be their new home. 2006 has been a huge year for the 3 crazy rockers with their 10 year anniversary, release of their 3 studio album 'Radio Action' on newly formed label Bop Records, touring Japan, as well as there non stop coast-to-coast shows across Australia. Mach Pelican will be opening the 2006-2007 Falls Festival in Lorne to a crowd expected upto 15,000 fans.
