June 2007

Welcome to Wikipedia. An article you recently created, Rémy Di Gregorio, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new articles, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do and please read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. A tag has been placed on Rémy Di Gregorio, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template hangon to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Image tagging for Image:ABCD0013.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:ABCD0013.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Fair use disputed for Image:Logo cab.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Logo cab.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 18:32, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on 2007 Paris-Tours requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Rudget Contributions 14:44, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

November 2007

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on 2010 FIFA World Cup. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. – PeeJay 17:47, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Change of username

Hey Simion, how's it going? It looks like you changed your username yoursself? Do you know about WP:CHU? I strongly recommend you use that to officially change your name. For one thing, User:Simion Eugen-Andrei, Bucharest, Romania is not registerred, and someone could register it and steal it. Also, the difference in usernames is causing some problems with people trying to leave you messages and so on. It will continue to be a problem in a lot of different ways. The process to change your name at WP:CHU is not hard at all and I can help you if you like. Just leave me a message on my talk page, so I can know what you plan to do. Thanks! Yes, I've moved your talk page back to "User talk:Simion Eugen-Andrei, Bucharest, Romania", so now you'll see new messages. I have left your userpage, however. Hello. Concerning your contribution, Image:Bennati in the golden jersey.JPG, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material without the permission of the author. As a copyright violation, Image:Bennati in the golden jersey.JPG appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Image:Bennati in the golden jersey.JPG has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message. For text material, please consider rewriting the content and citing the source, provided that it is credible.

If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

 • If you have permission from the author, leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Image:Bennati in the golden jersey.JPG and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.

 • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on Talk:Image:Bennati in the golden jersey.JPG.

However, for text content, you may want to consider rewriting the content in your own words. Thank you, and please feel free to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Diagonal P. (talk) 16:05, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image:EP020.jpg listed for deletion

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:EP020.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. An image that you uploaded, Image:Toure.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems because it is a suspected copyright violation. Thank you. Yonatan talk 23:45, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been warned about copyright problems multiple times in the past. 2008 Nicolas Sarkozy Romania Official Visit, an article you just created, was deleted as a straight copyright violation. Inserting unsourced and at first glance wholly incorrect information

If you pronounce people dead, like you did with Reagan Gomez-Preston, please provide reliable sources (I couldn't find any), and a correct date (dates in the future will rarely be correct...). I have reverted these edits of yours as well (just like quite a few others). Please be a lot more careful in your edits in the future. Fram (talk) 15:09, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Similarly, your edit at UEFA Euro 2008 broadcasting rights was unsourced and was contradicted by the available sources. Unless you provide sourecs for such edits, it looks like you are deliberately inserting false information in Wikipedia, which is another reason you may get blocked if you continue like this. Image source problem with Image:ABCD00061.JPG

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:ABCD00061.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the GFDL-self tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as article name or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 13:41, 5 February 2008 (UTC). Speedy deletion of Image:ABCD00061.JPG

A tag has been placed on Image:ABCD00061.JPG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Thank you for uploading Image:Aleea Dorohoi.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 15:13, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Steven Phillip Kazmierczak. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as File:Max Banus.jpg, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a copy from http://evz.ro/pictures/articles/normal/7dfaae42a2de3b16a413664eb1084b0e.jpg, and therefore a copyright violation. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

 • If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Image:Max Banus.jpg and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
 • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Image:Max Banus.jpg with a link to where we can find that note.
 • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on Talk:Image:Max Banus.jpg.

It is also important that the text be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and that it follows Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at Talk:Image:Max Banus.jpg/Temp. Leave a note at Talk:Image:Max Banus.jpg saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved. Thank you, and please feel welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Happy editing! bogdan (talk) 12:57, 16 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Area of Serbia

You have recently changed Serbia's area as to represent the state without Kosovo. I do not care about the issue itself, i.e. whether or not Kosovo should be treated as an independent country. However, you might have noticed that there is a huge discussion going on between users, who do care a lot. It seems a good idea for you to join these discussions and urge consensus rather than just changing back what others changed forth and indulge in a revert edit war.

What concerns me even more: While you feel free to change the area in km^2, you do not care to make the consistent change for the area in miles^2. I may wonder as to why. Please acknowledge that this kind of behavior harms the quality of wikipedia as a source for information. Tomeasy (talk) 18:59, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please explain what you are looking for with adding the update template to the page. I noted in removing it previously that there are no new news items about the race beyond what is there, so unless you are aware of some aspect that has been recently reported, it's hard to understand what information you are looking for updates on. --MASEM 20:26, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Since this is your third block, with multiple warnings for a variety of problems inbetween, you have now been blocked for one week. Speedy deletion of 2008 Putin in Bucharest

A tag has been placed on 2008 Putin in Bucharest requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Revert on Serbia

Hi Simion. I reverted your edit on Serbia. You changed its surface area in km^2 from ca. 88000 to ca. 77000. Here are the reasons for my revert:

 • You did not give a summary. Please, always do this in the future. It helps a great deal to judge the credibility of an edit.
 • You did not conduct the accorded change to the surface area in miles^2 and thus exposed this wikipedia article to an illogical inconsistency. Please, make sure in the future that you oversee the implied consequences of edits you conduct.
 • Your edit was not inline with the state that the article currently intends to represent. You might have noticed that the map in the info box displays Serbia including Kosovo. In this respect, you introduced another inconsistency in the article.
 • Most important: Your edit targeted a currently hot-disputed topic. Namely, should Kosovo be considered part of Serbia or not. If you want to voice your opinion with respect to this question please do so on the respective talk page. This is the place where you should spend energy in order to convince people of your POV. As a result of this, the map and all accorded figures might be changed according to your views. Please avoid indulging in senseless edit warring in the future.

Thank you. Tomeasy (talk) 14:06, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article , suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the dated prod notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on . Friendly warning

Hi. This isn't really worth another vandalism warning, but more a friendly warning as some of your recent editing, especially in the 2008 Vuelta al País Vasco article, has been disruptive. You are very welcome to edit Wikipedia, but edits such as [1] is just vandalism. I noticed you updated the article with [2], but then [3] and [4] seem completely unnecessary and was spamming the page with update templates. Finally, with regards [5], this is striking your own edit, (so, if anyone was not paying attention, it was you!) and if have realised it was wrong, what prevented you from changing it? Everyone is welcome to constructively contribute to Wikipedia, so I ask you to do more of the constructive rather than disruptive stuff. Regards, SeveroTC 10:32, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to 2008 Giro d'Italia, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Your name

Greetings from Bulgaria! I would like to inform you that your name in Russian is spelt incorrectly. It should be Симион К. Еуджен-Aндрей, not Симиоп К. Еугеп-Aндреи. дж is used for the sound of the English letter j, the Cyrillic letter п corresponds to Latin p and й is short i, which is appropriate in this case. My native language uses the Cyrillic script, so you can trust me. Also, Σιμιον Κ. Ευγεν-Ανδρει in Greek should transliterate in Latin as Simion K. Evgen-Andri, but I cannot tell you about how the correct name should appear. I cannot tell you anything about the name in Arabic or Chinese either, but I hope they are correct. You'd better ask someone who knows these languages. --212.36.9.133 (talk) 21:49, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your edits on Liga I 2008-09

Hello,

First of all, this is not a warning but rather some friendly advice.

I noticed that you were editing the results box of Liga I 2008-09. Thank you for doing so. Nevertheless, it would be great if you would edit the standings as well because it is a little strange when the Results are updated, but the Standings are not.

Further, please refrain from giving "live updates" for games in progress. Wikipedia is not a news agency. The mechanism providing content within the small-tags should just be used to give information such as postponement messages, the date of a rescheduled game or the tagging of next round's games.

Finally, if date information should be given on a game, please do so by using the English standard formatting (either DD/MM or MM/DD).

Unspecified source/license for Image:Port-au-Price2007.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Port-au-Price2007.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like PD-self (to release all rights), CC-by-sa-3.0 (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. Proposed deletion of Ştefan Iordache

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Ştefan Iordache, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Wikipedia policy prohibits links to copyright violations. On your user page, nearly every entry in your "lyrics" column was to a site that violates copyrights by posting lyrics without permission (LyricWiki.org, azlyrics.com, etc.), and your video links were primarily to copyright violating videos. I've removed both columns. Please do not restore them.—Kww(talk) 01:13, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Pavel Cristian Balaj

A tag has been placed on Pavel Cristian Balaj requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Image permission problem with Image:Attack car 2009.PNG

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Attack car 2009.PNG. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the image (or other media file) agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

 • make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
 • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the image to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the image has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as article name or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the image's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Images lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —TheDJ (talkcontribs) 15:52, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings. I'm very concerned about the copyright violations you've added to Wikipedia. I understand that you want to improve Wikipedia, and that your intentions are good, but it's just unacceptable for you to copy-and-paste entire sentences from copyrighted works into Wikipedia. I see that you've been blocked for this before, and promised not to do it again, but then I see that the problem has continued. I'd hate to see you banned from Wikipedia, since you do a lot of good work... but it's a TON of work to go through people's contributions and search for copyright violations and fix them. Please, please stop adding cut-and-pasted material into Wikipedia, or you'll be blocked, and I'd hate to see that happen. All the best, – Quadell (talk) 16:06, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am also concerned about your use of non-free materials. I've raised the question at the Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents. Until it is archived, it can be found here. Please come provide any information you can to help clarify the matter. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:20, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Licensing issues

On May 25, 2009, you performed a split of material to the article 2009 Rabat stampede, and I just wanted to drop you a note to point out a few things about the procedure. As Wikipedia:Split sets out, when we split material, we have to provide a direct link to the source article. This is necessary because Wikipedia's contributors do not release their material into public domain, but retain rights to authorship under the terms of our licenses, CC-By-SA and GFDL. This wikilink satisfies that requirement by allowing readers to access the history and see who contributed what and when. Usually, we put into the edit summary something along the lines of "Split from Mawazine". Then, we note the split as well in an edit summary at the source article. That would read like "Material split to 2009 Rabat stampede", in this case. This helps make sure that the article is not later deleted, as it cannot be as long as the article to which the material has been split remains. I see that others have already addressed the problems with this split, but I wanted to let you know for future use and also in case you could identify any other articles that you may have created by copying content already on Wikipedia. Attribution must be provided to those authors as well. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to let me know. I am watching your talkpage for a time. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 21:13, 3 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of 2009 Serbian MiG-29 crash

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article 2009 Serbian MiG-29 crash, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Military aircraft accidents are common and not really notable unless they include loss of civilian life

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the dated prod notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Orphaned non-free image (File:Gripa-porcina-in-Romania-9-aug-2009.jpg)

⚠
Thanks for uploading File:Gripa-porcina-in-Romania-9-aug-2009.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. —SpaceFlight89 06:50, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Gripa-porcina-in-Romania-9-aug-2009.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image which is not under a free license or in the public domain and it has not been used in any article for more than seven days.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —SpaceFlight89 06:52, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

2010 discussions

January 2010

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to :2009 flu pandemic in Asia, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. We have some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Most of the article on Wikipedia dealing with the pandemic is named "2009 flu pandemic in XXX", so there is no rationale to move 2009 flu pandemic in Asia to 2009-2010 flu pandemic in Asia. Also, there is no page move proposal proposed and no consensus has been voted so that the article may be on "2009-2010 flu... " name., JL 09 q?c 14:54, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I reverted the following page-moves:

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Google Street View. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. You need to first TALK about removal of article content on the article's talk page to see if there is a consensus to do so. ArcAngel (talk) (review) 22:59, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When you make a change to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Google Street View. The article 2010 U.S. Military helicopter crash has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable accident involving a military aircraft. See WP:AIRCRASH guidelines

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the dated prod notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing dated prod will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Mjroots (talk) 10:33, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on 2010 Gent–Wevelgem, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. -- Boing! said Zebedee 17:06, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

2010 West Bengal storm

A tag has been placed on 2010 West Bengal storm, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
according to wikipedia's notability criteria 1 sentence is not a notable article. Perhaps mention for this can go to a list of 2010 storms/nat'l disasters.

You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add hangon on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Lihaas (talk) 09:02, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Coverage details of Google Maps. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Coverage details of Google Maps. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

A tag has been placed on 2010 Afghanistan plane crash, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article that does not provide sufficient context to identify its subject.

To do this, affix the template hangon to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Your contributed article, 2010 Afghanistan plane crash

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, 2010 Afghanistan plane crash. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Pamir Airways Flight 112. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Pamir Airways Flight 112 - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions.

Hello, I have two choices for you. I can either history merge that into the correctly named article, which would mean that your name appears on the history but your changes don't appear in the current version or, since it's written in the present tense (which, btw, is a no-no on WP) you can take the text that you wrote and start an article on Wikinews where you can write in the present tense and not worry about notability. Let me know which you choose- if it's the first, I'll have do a lot of deleting and moving around. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 12:29, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've deleted the page and merged its history into Pamir Airways Flight 112. My recommendation of WN stands though- you might find things a bit easier over there. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 12:47, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

2010 CASA C-212 Aviocar Cameroon crash

Great minds think alike it seems. I was working on this one under a slightly different title - 2010 Cameroon Aero Service CASA C-212 Aviocar crash - which better fits the naming conventions per WP:AVIMOS. It was only when I added the 2010 accidents template that I discovered you'd also started an article. I hope you don't mind, but I copied and pasted the text I'd created into the article you started. Reviewer granted

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. –xenotalk 19:42, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Web ns.png

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Web ns.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 07:52, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Web ns.png

⚠
Thanks for uploading File:Web ns.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. ITN nominations

Hey, your efforts are appreciated, but they would be appreciated even more if you could provide more detail than just "Nom" in your nominations- a proposed blurb, a link to a news article and a bit of detail on why the person/even is ITN-worthy are all good things to include. Thanks, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 14:45, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Madalina_M.png

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Madalina_M.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? feydey (talk) 10:02, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on July 2010 Biobío earthquake requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding hangon to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Creating new articles

Hi, just a note to say that you should really try to develop your articles more before posting them. Compare your creation of Filair plane crash with my creation of 2010 Little Cornard derailment. Creating well formed articles helps to avoid them being listed at AfD, as notability can be established easier. Mjroots (talk) 20:44, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This has to stop!

This is not acceptable. You must stop creating stub article with the barest of details. With earthquakes, you should be able to find significant coverage from various RSs, such as the BBC, Sky, ABC, NBC etc and be able to create an article of at least start class on the event. It's been suggested before that Wikinews might be a better venue for your editing. Please stop creating these stubs or the issue will have to be raised at WP:ANI and sanctions could then be imposed (including blocks). I don't like to see any editor blocked if it is at all avoidable. That said, I will block an editor if it is for the greater good of Wikipedia. Mjroots (talk) 09:26, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would add that you should consider whether an event is notable. Just look at how many AfD notices you have on this page. This is getting ridiculous. Please read WP:NOTNEWS and consider contributing these articles to Wikinews, a project specifically set up as a news site. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, so not everything that happens warrants inclusion in it, but Wikinews welcomes these kinds of articles, though, even there, you'd have to develop them. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 13:09, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You can start you Wikinews articles in the newsroom, but be sure to look at the style guide. We at Wikinews would greatly appreciate new contributor's articles. Take note, you should finish the articles yourself, not leave a little stub. Any article left unfinished will be deleted per site policy.
All the stub news articles you write is becoming ridiculous. As per the above comments, please do take these articles to Wikinews. —Mikemoral♪♫ 20:45, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Progresul 3.JPG

Thank you for uploading File:Progresul 3.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 20:54, 29 August 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. Wikinews suggestion

If you want to write articles like this, please do it on Wikinews. Wikipedia is not for breaking news. You should wait until there is something more concrete before writing an article here. Please take this on board, I'm trying to help you. The only reason so mant of your articles are being deleted is because you're writing them in the wrong place. If you write them on Wikinews, Wikipedia's sister project specifically set up for news, then they'll be welcomed with open arms and they'll get as much prominence on Wikinews' Main Page as Today's Featured Article does on Wikipedia's. Unless the map shows dates (and it doesn't), what you are saying makes little sense and is the violation of the WP:NOR policy. A tag has been placed on File:Licha Cun.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding hang on to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Replaceable fair use File:Paunescu.png

Thanks for uploading File:Paunescu.png. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

 1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add , without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
 2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. dave pape (talk) 20:37, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as File:Blocul Carlton.jpg has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, this is in fact not the case[13][14]. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because images on Wikipedia need to be compatible with the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike or another free license, which allow anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial. See our non-free content guidelines for more more information.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license, or use PD-self to release it into the public domain. Note, if you did create this file, you may want to upload it to Wikimedia Commons, which will allow the image to be accessed by all Wikimedia Foundation projects (which include the various localized versions of Wikipedia)

If you did not create this media file, please understand that the vast majority of images found on the internet are not appropriate for Wikipedia. Most content on the internet is copyrighted and the creator of the image has exclusive rights to use it. Wikipedia respects the copyrights of others - do not upload images that violate others' copyrights. In certain limited cases, we may be able to use an image under a claim of fair use - if you are certain that fair use would apply here, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list. If no fair use rationale applies, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:42, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please be so kind to read WP:CITE and WP:SOURCE to realize what is my request all about. The second link is one of just three Core content policies of Wikipedia. It's not hard to grasp the basics of how Wikipedia works. Hint: "i saw it", "you can see it for yourself", "it's obvious" none fall under a category of a verifiable source under Wikipedia rules (also common sense rules) and none of them are a reference. Just imagine reading a scientific book, and you see a dubious claim with a number next to it, you follow the number to the footnote, only to find "this claim is a widely known fact" written next to it and that's it. No citation of a book or a person, jut a claim that it's a fact without any evidence or reference. Would you trust this book?--Avala (talk) 16:08, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:641px-Puffins-fi2.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion () tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. --Addihockey10 e-mail 23:20, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

2011 Monterrey casino attack

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I made a few corrections on the article you created. I'm going to expand it, too. I had made an article of the massacre as well, but I think I'll petition for a deletion, since you made it first than I and it seems to be more complete as well. I transfered the info already.

Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience! ComputerJA (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 18:01, 1 September 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Article length on creation

I know you like to create articles, but you often create stubs. Why not take a little more time to research the article and have it at least a start-class article when you post it? Is it a fear that someone else will beat you to creating the article that drives you to make so many short stubs? I'm not saying that the articles shouldn't be created, as in many cases they are on notable subjects. How about giving it a try the next time? Mjroots (talk) 09:28, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm very busy right now. Wikipedia has million users that can expand the articles. The article? What article? - EugεnS¡m¡on(14) ® 09:36, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, there's 2011 Chilean Air Force CASA 212 crash, which I created this morning. I'm just saying that maybe you should spend just a little more time at the beginning and get a bit of structure and text in when creating articles. I'm not asking for GA quality stuff from the outset. With current event-type articles, such as you like to create, this is simply not possible. Given the right conditions, it is possible to create near-GA class articles, but that depends on sources. Mjroots (talk) 13:45, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Timeline of Google Street View Source

Hi, Eugen Simion,

I noticed that you contributed to Timeline of Google Street View today with a listing of the new places introduced. What is your source for this data? This is probably the main reason the article is on track for deletion, unfortunately. I personally find that article very useful but even Google's website does not have a listing by date of when different countries or cities are introduced, and the Google Lat Long blog is not always updated.

TheAckademie (talk) 14:00, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article 2012 Toulouse hostage crisis has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable, not-national event, with no significance in its resolution, failing NEVENT.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hello. I see you reverted my edits to Timeline of Google Street View. I believe it is important to have the names of countries in the article so readers can easily search for them. Let's say you want to know when Street View was first introduced in the Czech Republic, or when did it receive updates. With the article in its current form it is impossible, as there is only a flag of the country but the name is missing. I tried to make the country names as small and unobtrusive as possible. Google Street View - West Bank

Hello, I was the one who made this edit, this edit, and all corresponding edits to Timeline of Google Street View adding the West Bank as a location. I'm wondering what your rationale for constantly reverting these is.

I made the edits adding the West Bank trying to keep a neutral point of view. I am not trying to instigate any sort of debate about who owns it, I'm simply putting it on the list because it does exist on Street View now. You, on the other hand, are almost trying to deny it even exists. It does, but I don't care who the West Bank belongs to; it is a disputed territory so I put it down separately. Even when I posted it without the Palestinian flag, you continued to remove any mention of the West Bank denying that it has Street View as well - if you go to Google Maps here and drag the Street View icon over the map, you'll notice that the eastern part of Jerusalem and the whole eastern road through the West Bank have Street View coverage.

Judging by the similar aggressive remarks, I'm assuming this was you, right? Claiming that the West Bank doesn't exist pretty much makes you a hypocrite by pushing your own political agenda. The derogatory remarks in the edit summaries are not necessary, either, and further cement the fact that you are probably using your own bias in this article.

I'll re-add West Bank to the articles without any reference to Palestine. If you want to take it down, please continue to discuss this with me here first before removing it or I'll put in a WP:3RR report. Thanks. 178.84.224.2 (talk) 22:27, 19 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

West Bank

I would still like to include it. Google added areas in the West Bank, regardless of what they list it as or what is planned. Thank you. Monocletophat123 (talk) 07:30, 24 January 2013 (UTC) The fact of the matter is Google itself is unclear on the topic, so I think a map is as good a reference as any. According to this article, "Asked whether Street View would be photographing streets in Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank, Solomon refused to comment. Nor would he say whether Street View was planning to launch the service in the Palestinian territories." Google is not saying if it is Israel or Palestine. But seriously, just look at the map. The territory is in West Bank.[reply]

Now you see how wrong your edits were. The Bulgaria Street View went live today 6 March but because of your stubbornness Wikipedia featured an incorrect information for a couple of hours. That's precisely why Wikipedia community decided long ago that product announcements are not allowed here until the very moment the product is put to the market. You had been told about this before, anyway. What's more, in reverting my reverts you violated WP:BRD and the WP:3RR and could have been reported to admin noticeboard for such attitude. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mihai Fotino requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted

material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Kolbasz (talk) 15:56, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding WoNoBo, India's local street view service. Patna and Amritsar were added to the website at around 1100, 17 February 2014 (UTC).But at this moment it look like both have been removed. Probably when you visted the website,Patna was present but Amritsar was gone by that time. I am presently not sure how WoNoBo is going to press on it. But I just wanted to clarify there was no attempt of spam. ( shabbygame 19:52, 17 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

UPDATE: At 20:15, 17 February 2014 (UTC). At homepage of WoNoBo. Amritsar & Patna are not visble. But Direct Link (http://www.wonobo.com/patna & http://www.wonobo.com/amritsar) are still active. (talk) 20:25, 17 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

ITN nomination

Why did you just remove my ITN nomination for the abdication of Juan Carlos? There's no need to put it back - Tone's version is up there now - but I can't see any reason for you to have removed mine. Thanks. AlexTiefling (talk) 09:01, 2 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Updating Timeline of Google Street View

Hi Eugen! Since I've seen that you always prepare the edits of that article a few days or a day earlier the update is made, I wanted to ask you: How do you know when it's going to be an update and which country it will be? Where to look?

Thanks!

Tragic but WP:NOTNEWS

Landmarks in Egypt in Google Street View

Your [revision] adds the phrase "Landmarks in Egypt" In the section "Stable release". That's why I undid it. Maybe you're not seeing that? It even has a flag. Or is that in some way appropriate? --Cornellier (talk) 20:21, 11 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Template:Aviation accidents and incidents in 2015 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>substituted</noinclude>).

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page's talk page, where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You noted on ITN that the death toll had reached 72. If you can link to the source either here, at the ITN nom, or the article itself (project or talk page) that would be helpful. Thanks. μηδείς (talk) 18:09, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
