Padayottam is an Indian Malayalam-language gangster comedy film directed by Rafeek Ibrahim, with Biju Menon in the lead role.[1][2]
Plot
Pinku, an idler gets beat up.His friends senan and renju tries to find the person who beat up pinku, but to their surprise they came to know that that person is from kasargod which is the upper most district in kerala where as they live in south most district Thiruvananthapuram. How ever they wanted to take revenge and they start their journey from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasargod along with Chenkal Reghu a local goon . Unbeknownst to them, the person whom they are after happens to be a son of a Gangster. Along the way they meet many local goons and intervene in their problems. The naivete and bubbling rush of causes leads them into funny, shameful, and quite dangerous situations.

Production
The title Padayottam was taken from the 1982 Malayalam film of the same name. Permission was granted by its production house and the filmmaker, Jijo Punnoose.
Music
The film score was composed and arranged by Prashant Pillai, song lyrics were written by Hari Narayanan.[3]
Release
Padayottam was released in India on 14 September 2018.[4]
