Have to question whether he was the first Indian to win the VC. This site claims that Khudedad Khan won the VC for an action nearly a month earlier. Maybe the dates of the announcements of their awards could be checked out? -- Arwel (talk) 02:35, 1 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
