Anatoliy Vladimirovich Chepiga (born 5 May 1979) is a Colonel in the GRU who served in Chechyna and has received the order of Hero of the Russian Federation,[1] the highest honour in the Russian Federation, and usually awarded personally by President Vladimir Putin.[2]

He has been named by multiple sources as one of the suspects in the poisoning of Sergei and Yulia Skripal and the killing of Dawn Sturgess.[3]
