Bangjja(방짜 or 유기) is a hand-forged bronzeware of Korean. The Banjja include dishes, bowls, spoon and chopsticks made by bronze. The Bangjja has a ability to sterillize germs so that it has been used for tablewares of royal families in Korea. Main difference of Korean bronzeware or Banjja is the ratio of alloy between copper and tin. The Bangjja contains much more tin than other bronzewares (Cu:Sn = 78:22 as volume) while the normal ratio of tin to copper is 1/9.
