Third Sergeant is a Specialist rank in the Singapore Armed Forces. Third Sergeants are the most junior of Specialists, ranking above Corporals, who, in the SAF, are not considered Specialists and do not have command authority. The rank insignia for a Third Sergeant features the three chevrons pointing down shared by all Specialists, and two chevrons pointing up.

In combat units, Third Sergeants are usually section commanders working directly under supervision of a commissioned officer. With experience and good performance, they may be appointed Platoon Sergeants.
