Lloyd Nelson Hand (born in 1929) served as United States Chief of Protocol from January 21, 1965 to March 21, 1966, under President Lyndon B. Johnson. He had been appointed the same day he assumed office.[1] He was preceded by Angier Biddle Duke and succeeded by James W. Symington.
