The Secret World of Jeffree Star is an American documentary series created by YouTuber Shane Dawson. The web series was announced on 24th of July 2018 through Dawson's Twitter[1] and immediately attracted attention of news outlets[2] and premiered on August 1, 2018 distributed on Shane's YouTube channel. The series is presented by Dawson, and stars himself and Jeffree Star, along with appearances by Ryland Adams and Garrett Watts, with Andrew Siwicki behind the camera. The Mind of Jake Paul, Dawson's next project, was released in a similar docu-series format.[3]
