Anatomical terminology

The nasion (/ˈnziɒn/) is the most anterior point of the frontonasal suture and marks the intersection of the nasal part of the frontal bone and the two nasal bones of the nose. Its manifestation on the visible surface of the face is a distinctly depressed area directly between the eyes, just superior to the bridge of the nose.[1] It is a cephalometric landmark that is just inferior to the glabella.[2]
