Contested deletion

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because I have reported what is available in the press. It is positive since Wales media and the local universities embraced what she stood for. She is clearly notable and it is a short article with 7 references so not necessary to delete could be tagged or amended for improvement. Speedy deletion is unfair and unnecessary. Contested deletion

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because it simply lists the subjects achievements. Her influence as an LGBT campaigner and her success in the Aerospace industry clearly makes her notable, therefor I would recommend advising the editor(s) of the article on how to restructure the article to make it sound less promotional, and review in a couple of weeks. Let's put a little faith in good faith editors! Jason.nlw (talk) 07:08, 17 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ive made a few improvements to the article to get things started. Thanks Jason.nlw (talk) 07:36, 17 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because it states facts about this individual. Yes they are all positive facts but they are documented elsewhere and cited appropriately. To suggest removing a page about an intersectionally underrepresented type of person (woman in STEM, LGBT+ campaigner, BAME representative) which Wikipedia (and society more widely) is so chronically lacking, is short-sighted. I agree with other people's suggestions to assist the creator in rewording the text to fit whatever standard Wikipedia requires for consistency. To dismiss and suggest deletion out of hand is not helpful in making Wikipedia more inclusive and encouraging contributions from underrepresented groups. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.111.184.102 (talk) 08:18, 17 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
