Members section
I know that this links to the separate Cure personnel page, but would it be worthwhile to just add a short list of all past members (exact years not necessary)? -KaJunl (talk) 17:29, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
Proposed merge with Easy Cure
This does not appear to be significant or notable enough to warrant its own article separate from The Cure's. Lachlan Foley (talk) 18:38, 15 January 2015 (UTC)
- I agree with this proposal. -KaJunl (talk) 17:30, 12 April 2015 (UTC)

Proposed merge with Malice (UK band)
This does not appear to be notable enough to warrant its own article distinct from The Cure's. Lachlan Foley (talk) 18:39, 15 January 2015 (UTC)
- I agree with this proposal. -KaJunl (talk) 17:30, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
- I agree too. This is simply a school band that Smith and Dempsey performed in before the Cure. Furthermore, Easy Cure is simply the earlier name for the Cure so it should be merged too as suggested in that article. Silver Beetles and The Pink Floyd Sound, for example, both redirect to their respective—and more famous—incarnations. Iadmc (Jubileeclipman) (talk) 23:40, 30 November 2016 (UTC)
- I agree too. Even though Easy Cure and Malice were what inspired me to expand the article formerly titled "Alice in
Chains demos" and rename it Alice N' Chains and later create the article Sleze, I definitely can't argue for the preservation of Easy Cure and Malice. My argument with regards to the other two bands that I referred to is that they featured only one member, vocalist Layne Staley, who later formed the more well-known band Alice in Chains whereas the other notable members went onto different acts. Although the four notable members of Easy Cure and Malice - Smith, Dempsey, Tolhurst, Thompson - all played in other notable acts besides The Cure, the four of them were all in The Cure at some point. So yes, I totally agree that these ought to be merged with The Cure. Shaneymike (talk) 17:10, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
- Merge of Malice done. SilkTork ✔Tea time 11:21, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
- Agree, post fact, with merge. Ceoil (talk) 11:25, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
Formation and early years (1973–79) Section
There is apparent duplication of information in two paragraphs of this section. One is: Within the same month, the band recorded a demo in Robert's parents' house, entered and won a talent contest, and signed a recording contract with German record label Ariola-Hansa on 18 May.[3] and then next paragraph’s first sentence is a simple duplication: That year, Easy Cure won a talent competition with German label Hansa Records, and received a recording contract. The only difference is slightly different label’s name. Should be merged into one paragraph in my opinion. --Rafał Komorowski (talk) 20:47, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
