Suraj Singh (born 9 March 1980) is an Indian Film/TV Producer.
Early life and education
[edit]Suraj Singh is the son of Dr. Madhan and Shanta. He went to school at De Nobili School and attended college at Atmaram Sanathan Dharma College, DU. Also, completed Masters from Pune University.
Career
[edit]Suraj Singh started his career aged 21, as an Executive Producer at Balaji Telefilms from January 2001 to June 2002. He then got promoted to Associate Creative, then Creative Head and then to General Manager by August 2005. He also got the opportunity to work in Dubai for a Balaji Overseas project as a Branch Head for Free Zone Enterprises from September 2006 to March 2008. Suraj wanted to explore other companies so he joined Sphere Origins as a Creative Producer from 2008 to 2009. He worked as a creative head for selected shows and was responsible for finalising storyline and screenplay, casting, co-ordination with the channel. In September 2010, he was appointed as the Vice President for Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd and has handled many projects like Dirty Picture, Ek Villain — There's one in every love story, Shootout at Wadala and many more. The recent films in which he was the Associate Producer was MS Dhoni and also A Flying Jatt. Suraj Singh is now the co- founder of Blive Productions and Music. Also, working on a new film Lucky [1] which is directed by Sanjay Jadhav. He has worked in this industry for more than 17 years.
