Speedy deletion
This article was nominated for speedy deletion as a copyvio. Given the copyright clearance pasted on the main page which I removed, it isn't a copyvio. It does need a lot of work to turn it into an article but Ms Meyers appears notable enough given reviews from the New York Times and others see Google News [1] and Google News Archive. [2] I will add categories. Capitalistroadster 04:17, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
This person is quite well known in the violin world. I added some info which is referenced, just need to find the reference. I have interviewed some of the Meyers family but don't have any kind of connection with them. VK35 15:25, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
Endorsement
I wonder if it is appropriate to mention her endorsement of a string manufacturer. This looks too much like an advertisement in the article, and it seems of very little significance to her bio. Lots of musicians endorse strings or instruments or something, but I question whether they should be mentioned in Wikipedia unless there is some special significance to the endorsement. Otherwise, it's just more online adware popping up.
I think she is notable enough to merit the article. She has an extensive number of recordings on RCA. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.160.185.160 (talk) 13:03:30, August 19, 2007 (UTC)
Putting strings shouldn't seem like an endorsement unless it says something other than "She uses [insert string type(s)] for her strings" or something like that. Do you realize how many people flood violin forums with posts about "what string does [insert famous violinist here] use?" It is information people care about, but not because they're going to go out and buy that set of strings. Strings can help to explain the tone of a performer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.211.140.168 (talk) 07:55, 4 December 2011 (UTC)
Close Connection
I do Annes viral promotion and no one on my team or Anne's team can identify who the close connection 'Bijinista' is. Anne has verified most of the information in this document, is there any way to remove the banner at the top? -- user jaimemorton —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jaimemorton (talk • contribs) 16:17, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
- I think that there is an extremely high probability that User:Bijinista is not just someone with a "close" connection to the subject of this article, but is actually Anne Meyers herself. The Conflict of Interest guidelines do not prohibit people from editing their own autobiographical articles, but they recommend that extreme caution should be used - especially when edits may be construed as having an overly rosy or promotional tone. The same guidelines apply to members of her promotional team and any other editors with a close connection to the subject. --DAJF (talk) 01:01, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
- And your idle speculation is based on ... what, exactly? 98.67.177.205 (talk) 07:31, 8 October 2015 (UTC)

Undisclosed payments tag
@JJMC89: I'm wondering what the concerns are which lead to the addition of the undisclosed payments tag. How can this be addressed so it can be removed? Thank you. Pianolover1979 (talk) 21:09, 26 September 2018 (UTC)
- 375mon edited the article without making the required paid contributions disclosure. Upon further review, you've made even more paid edits. Since you have financial conflict of interest, you should not be editing the article directly. — JJMC89 (T·C) 01:01, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
- @JJMC89: I will not make any further direct edits to the page. How can we proceed so that the article is in a place someone could remove the flag? Based on the message ("It may require cleanup to comply with Wikipedia's content policies, particularly neutral point of view."), it seems you are concerned with the neutrality of the article. Can somebody review it for neutrality, please, to address this concern? Pianolover1979 (talk) 15:41, 10 October 2018 (UTC)
- @JJMC89: For the benefit of the Wikipedia community as a whole, I would like to address the flag on the article. Shall I ask for more community members to comment on this talk page via WP:RFC to get the ball moving? Thanks. Pianolover1979 (talk) 02:06, 18 October 2018 (UTC)
Request for Comment

Requesting comment please so that the article can be edited if needed to be in a place that people agree the close connection disclaimer currently at the top can be removed. My impression is that User:JJMC89 wants it to be reviewed for neutrality. Thanks! Pianolover1979 (talk) 00:44, 25 October 2018 (UTC)
- Comment (Summoned by bot) @Pianolover1979: I have no idea what this RfC is requesting. Are you asking for the close connection disclaimer to be removed? Thanks, Hickland (talk) 06:23, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
