Benjamin Breeg
Are you sure it is Dianno's nickname? I heard it was only a rumor that started in Blabbermouth.
Probably, Blabbermouth posters are morons.
did the single not chart?or was in uneligable?
In the UK the single was unelegible. Got to no. 1 in Finland though. 84.64.159.231 15:04, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
Cover preview
the cover is out on: http://www.ironmaiden.com/media/images/IID00002173.JPG but has www.ironmaiden.com writen on it
so what...it's freaking awsome!
- Not in my opinion. That's an ugly album cover. — Prodigenous Zee - 01:16, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
I think it looks sort of more like a Megadeth cover but its pretty cool, not their best but not their worst either.
- anyone who doesn't like it should look at the amount of detail in it...f*ck it's ingenious
- At least you can tell it's a heavy metal album. I am sick and tired of half-assed, utterly boring album covers (see Slayer's latest yawner, as well as the abyssmal St. Anger and even Dance Of Death). I'd say it's their best album cover since at least No Prayer For The Dying, or Somewhere In Time. Of course, it's no Powerslave, but...
For the Greater Good of God
Where did you read the rumour that it was gonna have female back-up vocals?
- I think it's best we remove that line altogether. — Prodigenous Zee - 02:51, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
this song does have female vocals near the end
thats not the song thats an ayreon song off of flight of the migrator and it really sounds nothing like maiden or the streams of the other songs on the album
- it provably sounds like maiden 'cause bruce dickinson does the vocals on it, I haven't heard the song myself but that's what I read on maidenfans.com forums. David.
Piece of Mind
In what way in this album like Piece? I think that statement should be removed unless a reason is provided. --Jeff24 09:58, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- You've read the sentence wrong. — Prodigenous Zee - 11:42, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
Somewhere in time shouldn't be there - it is named from the song 'caught somewhere in time'. User:Tom walker 13:39 GMT 18 August 2006
Backing vocals
It has already been confirmed. According to the swedish magazine Sweden Rock Magazine, previewing the new album, there are female backing vocals in the song For The Greater Good Of God - Bruce sings "For the greater good...", then the chicks come in and sing "Of God".
Wrong. The segment of the chorus you're referring to is simply Bruce's voice multi-tracked, to create the effect of a choral assembly.
The genesis of the female vocal rumour was in fact, a statement submitted on this forum; http://www.popbitch.com/newboard/33/79/03/9//Just-Back-From-A-Recording-Studio-In-Lon.html Although, as the song has now entered the public domain, and the testimony of the supposed "mediator" has been disproved, we can assume that the anonymous messenger was a hoaxer, or (as became increasingly likely during the furore some months ago surrounding the purported "For The Greater Good Of God" leak) was misinformed that the aforementioned song was an authenticated album track, when in actuality it was the Ayreon song "Into The Black Hole", which can be located on his "Flight Of The Migrator" release, and features Bruce Dickinson on guest vocals, and female choral embellishments - either way, his claim of being privy to the recording process in some capacity is almost certainly fabrication.
Leaked
I can't find any proof that this album has been leaked. Can anyone verify this? If not, I'll just remove the comment on the page
- I have found all of the tracks using LimeWireLemmy the lurch 17:19, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
- edit, Search around on mininova or other torrent sites, not going to provide any links but it is out there Mentaka 14:20, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
that sucks
It did, there were many torrent sites with the album on that date, so I'm putting the comment back on the page.
Release Date
I went to the record store today to get it (I am in Canada), and I was told that it was delayed until September 5th. I want to know if there is someone that can back me up on this or can provide a link with a story or an announcement about the delay. --Hhamdy283 00:14, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
do we really need the country-specific releasedates (for example for Italy and Finland) named separately? The european releasedate officially was August 28, but it's supplied to shops earlier. I bought it on the 25th also, so I could add that it was released in Holland on the 25th, but it's a bit pointless.

Incorrect average song length
The article says that the average song length is 7:20, which obviously should mean 7 minutes and 20 seconds. Actually it is 7.2 minutes (72 minutes total / 10 songs), which equals to 7 minutes and 12 seconds. It's not that much of a difference, but since it's already noted in the article, I think it should be corrected

Charts table
There seems to be a problem with the code there - the charts table is glued to the maiden table. I cant sort it. User:Tom walker 21:06 GMT 15 September 2006
- Done. — Prodigenous Zee - 04:06, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

Could someone make a separate article for These Colours Don't Run.
