Kalpavriksha or Kalpataru is a wish-fulfilling divine tree from the Hindu Puranas. It originated during the Samudra manthan or "churning of the milk ocean", and the King of the gods, Indra took it to the heavens. In India, Coconut trees are also known as kalpataru. Kalpataru also fulfills whatever wishes it is asked.
