Strečno castle ruins

Strečno is a village (pop. 2648) by river Váh in Lesser Fatra in Slovakia. Situated 7 km away from Žilina, Strečno is most famous for its gothic castle ruins. The castle, built in the beginning 14th century by Matthew Csák was destroyed in 1698.
