Tips for feedback
Tell us what you liked about it, where we could improve, and what you learned
- How you can help
- Play the game all the way through. Do you get stuck anywhere? Is anything unclear?
- Finish the game if you only played a few missions: Give some attention to missions 5-7 (which have been tested much less)
- Start over fresh with a new account: Like User:OcaasiTWA17 (these are legitimate alternate testing accounts and are not considered sockpuppets)
- Try a different browser: If you used Safari, try Firefox (or Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera...)
- Show the game to a friend or family member to see how they like it and if they get stuck anywhere
- In your feedback, please include any of your thoughts on
- text instructions within the game
- graphic placement
- bugs in the tour mechanics
- your web browser
- your screen resolution
- which step of the tour you were on if something didn't work (see the step= in the url)

This was way too basic for those like me that have chosen not to register, edit as needed, and yet have some basic questions.
- What I wanted more of
Hmm, maybe a 2.0 adventure covering hidden pages, or an adventure on advanced editing? I want to know what the deal is with all these projects and why an article is linked to it and what I can do to help make the project tag unnecessary.
I believe a guide to the syntax of source editing should be included, that would help newcomers a lot. piisawesome3.14159 (talk) 05:42, 6 September 2018 (UTC)

Mission 1: "Edit" tab misnamed?
The Mission 1 text that directed me to edit my user page didn't match the name of the tab. I suspect they changed the name of the tab at some point and it didn't get changed in the mission text.
Cheers! --Elfabet (talk) 21:04, 23 August 2018 (UTC)
Additional discrepancies in later missions now that I've finished the complete module:
Mission 2 - Reply bug: Notify Will that you replied by typing his name somewhere in your reply like User:WillKomen. If you're on Will's user talk page, it will notify him automatically. This sentence in the pop-up text seems to be missing a word.
I'll re-iterate the updated images of linking and images in the edit menus being different in Chrome web browser than in the text bubbles.
I would also appreciate a more advanced but equal in depth for tables, formatting images, forming lists (maybe?) and those cool info boxes that things of the same type have (categorical somethings?).
Cheers! --Elfabet (talk) 19:10, 24 August 2018 (UTC)

Feedback
- What I liked
The whole experience was nicely put together and overall easy to follow along.
- What I didn't like
There are some updates that I think are necessary. Some of the tools mentioned were not labeled as they were when the Adventure first came out. I had a little trouble following along the citation section and the image section because the tools were no longer shown as the tutorial described. I'm fairly certain I did not cite correctly (none of my citations appeared) but the portal had me move ahead anyway. I guessed correctly on the insert image (using the embedded section). However, I'm not certain if the inconsistency was truly the tutorial's error, or if it appears differently based on what browser and computer the user is using (I was using a Chrome browser on a Mac laptop).
- What I wanted more of
... Perhaps different ways a person can go about doing the sections. Though perhaps this is provided in the other tutorials. I will explore this at a later time.
- What was unnecessary
There were probably repetitive actions, but none of it really bothered me. I understood the level of the tutorial when I clicked on it, and appreciated the reminders when given.

... Overall great tutorial, especially for people (like me) who are not familiar with the Wikipedia interface. --Wernilu (talk) 15:26, 27 September 2018 (UTC)
Feedback
- What I liked
I really liked the last two parts, numbers 6 and 7, which went through some nice formatting stuff, etc. The whole format of the lesson was good for me.
- What I didn't like
The icons used in the instruction boxes don't match the icons in the menu bar. :(
- What I wanted more of
creating a page, not just editing. hotkeys would be nice, too.
- What was unnecessary
the sound of fireworks might be triggering to some people. at least they don't autoplay.
- Any other thoughts you want to share
thanks for providing this training. i'd definitely recommend it to my peers. we all can grow!

Outdated toolbar
I have recently completed the Wikipedia Adventure. I noticed some bugs that need to be fixed. The toolbar that I have does not match the one that the software assumes I was using. This made editing very confusing. In particular, I wasn't able to place a picture in the article the way the software wanted me to. I am hoping someone will address this. Feedback
- What I liked
This tutorial was friendly and not overwhelming for a new user like many of Wikipedia's policy pages.
- What I didn't like
The toolbar has been updated since this game was released, however the game hasn't been modified to reflect that.
- What I wanted more of
Information on how to properly format references, and information on navigating the bureaucratic systems on Wikipedia, such as dealing with vandals, using noticeboards, and being part of WikiProjects.

What now?
I am quite confused. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Atbreuer11 (talk • contribs) 03:02, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
General feedback
The instruction box was locked to the bottom of the webpage. When I scrolled up (to edit, or view the toolbar), the instructions weren't visible. It would be helpful if the instruction box remained visible regardless of where the user is on the page. Schaz (talk) 01:33, 14 November 2018 (UTC)

It felt risky! I was so scared of clicking [x]!
- What I wanted more of
A bit more info on images and tables.

There was an issue with the first Adventure. When you get to the page where you edit information about yourself, the [X] box floats right over the top of where you are typing so you can't actually see the 'submit edits' button. Is it possible to making the floating box movable? This was using Microsoft Edge. --drkirstyross (talk) 16:05, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
