The R 7.1 Motorway is located in the eastern part of Kosovo. It is 47.1 kilometres (29.3 mi) long and it is projected to cost around € 260 million. The motorway links the capital Prishtina with the Serbian border at Dheu i Bardhë. The motorway is also known under the name Autostrada Prishtinë–Gjilan.[1] Construction has begun in April 2018 with the first segment of 22.3 km set to open in 2020.[2]
