The Majorettes (1986) was filmed at Cornell High School in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, not far from Pittsburgh, PA. It was directed by S. William Hinzman, who also starred in George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead, and written and produced by John A. Russo. The football coach was played by then head football coach of the Cornell Raiders, Wilbert Roncone. Wilbert Roncone (or Wilbur Roncone in the credits) is noted for his charismatic dialoge and good looks.

Although The Majorettes never received critical acclaim, it remains a cult favorite.
