Darko Vojvodić (Serbian Cyrillic: Дарко Војводић, born 8 May 1970) is a Bosnian football manager and former player, [1] currently in charge of FK Borac Banja Luka in the First League of the Republika Srpska.

Playing career

He played with FK Radnički Kragujevac in the 1995–96 Second League of FR Yugoslavia.[2] Then he played with FK Sartid Smederevo in the 1998–99 First League of FR Yugoslavia.[3] Earlier he played with FK Radnički Kragujevac.[4] In the season 1999–2000 he was the topscorer of Sartid in the league with 9 goals.[5] Next, he played with Montenegrin side FK Sutjeska Nikšić in the 2000–01 First League of FR Yugoslavia having scored 3 goals.[6]

In 2002, he returned to Bosnia and played with FK Sloboda Tuzla, NK Čelik Zenica and FK Budućnost Banovići in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina.[7]

Coaching career

After finishing his playing career, he was the manager of a number of Bosnian clubs. He started in 2009 coaching FK Sutjeska Foča and finishied the first half of the season at top of the First League of the Republika Srpska.[8] Next he coached FK Proleter Teslić from where he moved to FK Drina Zvornik in September 2010.[9] He also cocached FK Sloboda Tuzla, FK Radnički Lukavac, FK Slavija Sarajevo, NK Travnik, NK GOŠK Gabela, with whom he won the 2016–17 First League of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and FK Tuzla City which was at that time known as "FK Sloga Simin Han".[10]Currently he is the head coach of FK Borac Banja Luka.[11]
