Kolgaon is a village in Ferozepur Jhirka sub-division of Nuh District of Haryana state of India.[1] It lies in the Mewat region of Delhi NCR and Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor. It is also adjacent to the Delhi Mumbai Expressway. It is 14 km from the Ferozepur Jhirka subdivision and 37 km from the Nuh district headquarter,[1] 115 km far from national capital New Delhi and 400 km from state capital Chandigarh.

Geograpy

It is located next to Aravalli range on te foothill of Kalinjar-Mohun-Kolgaon ridge of Delhi Supergroup.[2]

Demography

It had a population of 2,862 in 498 houses as per 2011 Census of India.[1]

Administration

The village local governance is manageed by the elected panchayat headed by the Sarpanch.[1]
