Speedy deletion declined: Yoel Adler
I noticed that you tagged the page Yoel Adler for speedy deletion with the reason "[wall of text that seems to boil down to WP:BLPCRIME]". However, "[wall of text that seems to boil down to WP:BLPCRIME]" is not currently one of our criteria for speedy deletion, so I have removed the speedy deletion tag. You can propose the page for deletion if it appears to be an uncontroversial matter, or take the page to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for discussion on the merits if you still seek deletion. Thanks! Template:Z4 Iffy★Chat -- 09:50, 30 November 2018 (UTC)

History of Jews in Poland
Regarding your comment in recent AfD. There exists two versions of History of Poland (to be exact the alleged Poland was during several ages a Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, not Poland). One version is presented in History of Poland (a series) and the other one in History of Jews in Poland (a series). I don't want to decide which version is better, but some parts of the History of Jews is biased. History of Jews in Poland#Interbellum (1918–39) contains three sections
- Polish Jews and the struggle for Poland's independence
- Jewish and Polish culture
- Tensions and antisemitism
Many Polish Jews were quite succesfull economically at that time, they had parties, media (not only Jewish newspapers as the text suggests). Since 1926 till Pilsudski's death the Jews did well. But Tensions and antisemitism. I don't expect any good from integrating of the Jewsih Paradise into the Hitory of Jews. Xx236 (talk) 09:14, 7 December 2018 (UTC)

NPR Newsletter No.16 15 December 2018
Hello E.M.Gregory,
- Reviewer of the Year
This year's award for the Reviewer of the Year goes to Onel5969. Around on Wikipedia since 2011, their staggering number of 26,554 reviews over the past twelve months makes them, together with an additional total of 275,285 edits, one of Wikipedia's most prolific users.
- Thanks are also extended for their work to JTtheOG (15,059 reviews), Boleyn (12,760 reviews), Cwmhiraeth (9,001 reviews), Semmendinger (8,440 reviews), PRehse (8,092 reviews), Arthistorian1977 (5,306 reviews), Abishe (4,153 reviews), Barkeep49 (4,016 reviews), and Elmidae (3,615 reviews).
Cwmhiraeth, Semmendinger, Barkeep49, and Elmidae have been New Page Reviewers for less than a year — Barkeep49 for only seven months, while Boleyn, with an edit count of 250,000 since she joined Wikipedia in 2008, has been a bastion of New Page Patrol for many years.
See also the list of top 100 reviewers.
- Less good news, and an appeal for some help
The backlog is now approaching 5,000, and still rising. There are around 640 holders of the NPR flag, most of whom appear to be inactive. The 10% of the reviewers who do 90% of the work could do with some support especially as some of them are now taking a well deserved break.
- Really good news - NPR wins the Community Wishlist Survey 2019
At #1 position, the Community Wishlist poll closed on 3 December with a resounding success for NPP, reminding the WMF and the volunteer communities just how critical NPP is to maintaining a clean encyclopedia and the need for improved tools to do it. A big 'thank you' to everyone who supported the NPP proposals. See the results.
- Training video
Due to a number of changes having been made to the feed since this three-minute video was created, we have been asked by the WMF for feedback on the video with a view to getting it brought up to date to reflect the new features of the system. Please leave your comments here, particularly mentioning how helpful you find it for new reviewers.

Speedy deletion nomination of Artechouse
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Artechouse, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Alexf(talk) 18:57, 17 December 2018 (UTC)

Mark Lindquist AfD Comment Deletion
Hi there,
Was wondering if you knew which SPA had deleted the AfD comments - worth putting a high level warning on their talk page. I personally feel that AfD content removal is a "two strikes and out" offence - it's fundamentally the most egregious act that can be done within AfD discussion. Nosebagbear (talk) 18:35, 18 December 2018 (UTC)
- User:Nosebagbear I don't know. In order:
- I make a comment [1]
- User:SportingFlyer makes his comment [2] previous comments visible
- User:Rocktober2018 comment [3] previous comments visible
- SineBot signs Rocktobel's comment previous comments visible
- User:Coolabahapple comment [[4]] previous comments still visible
However, when I click on the date of the comment I made at: 14:24, 17 December 2018, my comment shows on the page. But when I click on the date of my next edit - the one the disappeared - 14:31, 17 December 2018, my comment does not show. Ditto for the next comment, SportingFlyer 17:47, 17 December 2018. teh next tow comments, Roctober 21:13, 17 December 2018 and Sinebot 21:14, 17 December 2018 also fail to show up as "old revision" when clicked. But clicking on the next comment, Coolabahapple addition of this discussion to a list on 01:14, 18 December 2018 does produce an updated "old revision" page showing his addition. I honestly don't understand how my comment and SportingFlyer's comment disappeared.E.M.Gregory (talk) 18:59, 18 December 2018 (UTC)

Hello! Someone doxed me on the AfD page right around the time you're focused on, and that comment was obliterated from the record. The doxer used a new account based on my real name that was also blocked permanently. When I tried to view the edit history, the system acted strangely. That might be what you've noticed. I have been fascinated by the examination so far. I am a professional technical writer, and it's always a scary but good feeling when my work is criticized and improved by experts. In addition to his published books with national reviews, the subject is also noteworthy for government secrecy decisions that set national precedents (and made national headlines). I hope to engage in that discussion with you if/when the time comes. Do note that legal Wikipedians were notified with the second listing, and none have argued for removal. I have sought to distill the noise down to the critical details that belong in the historical record. Many regional politicians have bad terms, but the legal significance of 3 of these deeds are important to the national debates about government secrecy and prosecutor authority. I haven't changed a word pertaining to the subject's writing career. When this page got headlines in April (on the AP Newswire and in 3 major metro newspapers), some people dug up those reviews which I probably should have double-checked (Verifiability). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mcfnord (talk • contribs) 01:59, 19 December 2018 (UTC)

Democratic Socialists of America - Israel stance, your additions (comment replaced per WP:TPO)
I support some type of expansion on their Israel stance, but not the addition you made. The Daily Beast is fine and here is a reprint of my comments about the source's material. Per WP:TPO: "Cautiously editing or removing another editor's comments is sometimes allowed, but normally you should stop if there is any objection.". My comments are for the purpose of article improvement and does not fall under any of the exceptions where it is acceptable to simply delete them.
- I was just watching a series that mentions Rashida Tlaib and wanted to read about the DSA further when noticing this edit dispute. Finish reading the entire article; when you state 'anti-Israel' you will need to qualify what that means. They are anti-current incarnation of Israel, anti-Zionist, anti-ethnostate. Quoting the article: "the abolition of the state of Israel as it currently exists." They do not support ethnostates that establish a single religion, language (Knesset passed this law establishing a national language) or ethnic group as the foundation. One of the Jewish DSA members points out the hypocrisy of fighting exclusivist nationalism in the US (like declaring English the national language) but not in Israel: “As Jews we are uniquely positioned to challenge the nationalism that appears in our community as Zionism, and as socialists we detest all exclusivist nationalisms,” the document read. “The inconsistency of liberal North American Jews in opposing white nationalism at home without material opposition to nationalism in Israel undermines our ability to forge solidarity with the oppressed everywhere.”
- To properly frame the addition to the article, you would need to point out that the platform ideas of the Jewish Solidarity Caucus which states in their founding statement: “Zionism cannot vanquish antisemitism,” that “Jewish collective efforts to realize the prophetic vision of a just world will only be fully realized through socialism,”
- The reporter interviewed Jewish members of the DSA/JSC: "..18 JSCers; all were vehemently pro-BDS and all but one were united in their call for an end to the Jewish state and its replacement with either one democratic country with equal rights for Israelis and Palestinians or, in a more utopian mode, a “zero-state solution” in a socialist world where all national borders have been done away with. Either way, the fact remains that they’re all Jews—though largely secular or only casually religiously observant ones—who celebrate their Jewish identity and want nothing to do with Israel.
- One member from our local area states: “We don’t need an ethnostate; they don’t work,” says 32-year-old “Lilith,” a St. Louis-based DSA and JSC member who requested a pseudonym for fear of being blacklisted by pro-Israel portions of the Jewish community for her viewpoints. “What Israel stands for now is completely against any Jewish values. We’re not supposed to be kicking people out. We’re supposed to be welcoming the stranger into our homes, not destroying their homes and destroying their land.” 47.40.52.156 (talk) 06:10, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
