Taran Adarsh is an Indian film critic, journalist, editor and film trade analyst, though recently accused for fake reviews. [1] He is the son of B. K. Adarsh. He is known for giving trade figures and box office updates on Twitter.

Career

Taran Adarsh started his journalism career at the age of 15 as the Editor of Trade Guide, a weekly box office magazine.[2] In 1994, Adarsh produced and wrote the Bollywood film-based TV serial Hello Bollywood, starring Shehzad Khan and Kashmira Shah.[citation needed] He continued his work on Trade Guide alongside. He is currently an active film critic, journalist and trade analyst on Bollywood Hungama, a Bollywood entertainment website. He was recently accused of giving fake paid reviews. [3] His credibility has been in question recently. In a recent case, he was seen dancing with Simmba stars Ranveer Singh, Rohit Shetty & Karan Johar during the film's special screening and then straightaway giving 4 stars to the film. This act has raised a lot of eyeballs from everyone. [4]
