Please help me with...moving draft pages to published articles...!?
Rober King Carter (talk) 00:35, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
- Your account is not yet auto-confirmed but that should happen in a day or so. Once you are autoconfirmed, you can move articles yourself from Draft to published. They will still need to be reviewed by a member of the new page patrol before they show up in search engines.
- The problem with doing this is that your articles and drafts have, thus far, been somewhat shy of the notability references needed for there to be an article as well as other referencing issues. We try to avoid having all of the citations for an article be to a single work. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 02:03, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
OK
The process take time as stated above - you need to be autoconfirmed - that is a case of patience...
But also as the editor above has suggested the need for the chain of the necessities for an article to exist familiarity with WP:N WP:V WP:RS and the related items that help create the article.... JarrahTree 02:50, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of User:Rober King Carter/sandbox
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:Rober King Carter/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://medianola.org/discover/place/107/Boston-Club. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please don't use more than one account. Please don't copy materials you find elsewhere
Hello, I am Diannaa and I am a Wikipedia administrator. It appears you are also editing with the username User:GreyDiomed. Using multiple accounts to appear to be multiple people when you're actually only one person is not allowed. If this is so, please choose one username and abandon the other account.
Also, prose you find online is almost always copyright, and cannot be copied here; it's against the copyright policy of this website to do so. All prose must be written in your own words. There's more information about copyrights and how it applies to Wikipedia at Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright. The Wikipedia copyright policy and its application are complex matters, and you should not edit any more until you have taken the time to read and understand our copyright policy. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 12:04, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
