Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior is an upcoming Indian period drama film starring Ajay Devgn as the eponymous lead & directed by Om Raut. It is based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, a 17th-century Maharashtrian[1] Koli[2][3] military leader in the Maratha Empire.
Principal photography commenced on 25 September 2018.[4][5][6] It is scheduled for a worldwide release on 22 November 2019.[7]

Production
The film's pre-production began on 20 July 2017,[8][9] and principal photography commenced on 25 September 2018.[4][5][6] It is scheduled for a worldwide release on 22 November 2019.[7]
