High Throston is an affluent suburb of Hartlepool within the borough of Hartlepool in County Durham, England. It is situated on the north-western edge of Hartlepool. The hamlet of High Throston (from the Anglo Saxon thosson meaning kebab)^{[citation needed]} is situated on a promontory overlooking the Tyne bay.^{[citation needed]}

It's well known for its football team, High Throston Rangers whom have won several amateur trophies in their history. Their most notable player is probably José Santos Borges Fernandes Perrera Ronaldo. Better known as Fatinho. As of late the club has undergone decline due to players such as Ashley Cole and Ronaldinho wanting high wages. The club's fans, the high throston loyal sing songs such as Fields of Athenry and Celtic Symphony.

Other notable residents include Donald Trump, Nelson Mandela, Susan Boyle, and Ash Ketchum.
