I think that trivia about coach Payton and coach Mora is wrong. If I'm not mistaken Coach Mora started the season 6-0 in '91 or '92 (maybe it was 6-0 in '91 and 7-1 in '92). It might have even been 7-0... I was maybe 10 at the time. Also, I beleive Coach Haslett started a season 6-0... maybe in '02 or '03. Oh, and the bit about Mora starting 5-0 in '93, it doesn't make sense in that sentance, becase it says Payton was the first Coach to win his first 2 games with the saints... Coach Mora had been Coaching the Saints for Years before the '93 season... and Payton didn't just win his first 2 games, he won his first 3. Can sommeone do some fact checking?

trivia

I deleted the sentence about the Saints' current record. I don't think that is information that should be kept in an encyclopedia. His final record at the end of the season is appropriate. Not his current record this week of the season. Agerard 04:49, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't even care about football and I stumbled onto this by accident, but you are completely wrong. A current record is the EXACT type of information an encyclopedia is supposed to have. They are facts, they are verifiable and last but not least they are descriptive statistics on the subject itself. On top of that, you are supposed to ASK to change things like this, not just change them because you want to. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ТнеСупԁісате.сом (talkcontribs) 10:19, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

trivia II

"The Saints are 9-4 under Payton, including a convincing 42-17 win over the Dallas Cowboys at Texas Stadium. The game put to rest any criticism of the New Orleans Saints and Payton."

Is that really trivia? Nolesrule 06:18, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Most Successful Coach?

Clearly leading the team to the SB win makes him the celebrated Saints coach, but to for sure be the most successful, shouldn't Payton have the most wins of any coach in team history? He's not there yet, although he probably will get there this year... Noydbyj (talk) 03:07, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As a Saints fan I agree with that statement. While yes we had decent coaches. None of them delivered whats most important. So as far as I'm concerned to me hes the best coach in team history. The wins will come, all that matters is the SB win. -KrisV —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.197.80.43 (talk) 02:33, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Vicodin

I don't know why this isn't in the article, there are plenty of reliable sources that reported on this. I will post the link below, if someone else wants to add it then go for it in my opinion.Zdawg1029 (talk) 14:46, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Lead Bounty

The lead for this article is WAY to long. I don't know why anyone felt the need to go into that much detail about the bounty scandal in the lead, it already has its own section that says the same exact thing. All it needs is a line or two saying that it happened in the lead. I will be editing that down.Zdawg1029 (talk) 19:15, 10 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
