The world_record_egg is a photo of an egg posted to Instagram on 4 January 2019 by an Instagram account owned and run by Noah Brunsdon. The eggs account is @world_record_egg. The image was posted with the stated intent to surpass a post by Kylie Jenner, a goal accomplished 10 days after its initial post.[1] The egg's meteoric rise in popularity and likes garnered coverage in various media outlets.[2][3][4][5][6] It is currently at 30 million likes and officially became the most liked picture on Instagram.
