The Nulhegan Band of the Coosuk Abenaki Nation is a state-recognized tribe of Abenaki people from Vermont. They are also called the Nulhegan Abenaki Tribe or simply, Nulhegan. This Native American community is based in Vermont's 'Northeast Kingdom'. Most of the tribe's populace resides near the southern shores of Lake Memphremagog and along the rivers and lakes of northeast Vermont. Nulhegan is recognized as a Native American Indian tribe by the State of Vermont in the United States.
