Bhurit Bhirombhakdi (Template:Lang-th, nicknamed “Tae”) was born on 12th January 1977. He is the fourth-generation businessman of Singha Corporation. [1]
Biography
After graduated the bachelor’s degree of Business Management from USA, Bhurit started his first job as a beer tank supervisor of his family business, then he moved to apprentice about advertisement and marketing at Ogilvy & Mather (Thailand) before came back to work with Boonrawd Trading Co., Ltd. once again. He also graduated the Master of Brewery from Germany and the Master of Business Administration from Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University.[2]
In 2004, Bhurit was promoted to be the Business Development and Marketing Manager for non-alcoholic products.[1] As the new generation businessman, he used the proactive approach to organizational development by creating new non-alcohol products such as rice, fried seaweed, mineral water, functional drink and sport drink that increased company’s income around 1,500 million baht in each year, [3] creating business alliance’s products such as Japanese green tea and baked snack, and investing in real estate business.
Nowadays, Bhurit is the Chief Executive Officer of Boonrawd Trading Co., Ltd. and has the responsibility to look after all marketing and distribution of the business.[4] Moreover, in 2017, he started his new project, corporate venture capital fund (CVC), called “Singha Ventures” which firstly invested in the Startup Ecosystem of Indonesia and Singapore and would be expanded in the future. The purpose of Singha Ventures is to look for some technologies and ideas from international startups and then adapt them into the main business by investing at least 25% and supporting their startup businesses.[5]
Bhurit also interests in other lifestyles included music which he used to be a singer, and sport which he won many racings and also owned a Thai boxing school named “RSM Academy”.
