Contested deletion
This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (your reason here) --Drlbm (talk) 17:57, 1 February 2019 (UTC) I have added biographical content on the artist together with images of her public commissions. I have interviewed the artist to obtain accurate information.
- According to richmondandtwickenhamtimes.co.uk, "Hazel Reeves is a member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors and fellow of the Royal Society of Arts." I think the topic is notable, but as it exists this is really spammy. @Drlbm:, just so you know, interviews with subjects aren't considered reliable. This needs to be written using exclusively reliable sources. And since you clearly have a conflict of interest, you may not be the best one to do it. I'd like to see this article cleaned up and expanded, and I'm willing to help. Bradv🍁 18:13, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
- I have removed the Speedy Deletion. There is plenty of coverage of three of her sculptures (Gresley, the Cracker Packers, and Pankhurst), so it seems likely that she would meet WP:CREATIVE. I have noted sources for some of the deleted information, and knowing the names of the awards she has won and other sculptures she has created (in deleted edits), it may be possible to find more, so there is plenty of scope to improve the article. I do not have a conflict of interest with regard to this article. I have no close connection to the artist. Her work is notable and I believe an entry in Wikipedia is justified. Drlbm (talk) 00:35, 2 February 2019 (UTC)
