Steven Stafstrom is a Democratic member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing the 129th District and serving as Chair of the Judiciary Committee. He was first elected to the chamber in a special election on February 24, 2015.

Stafstrom is a proponent of property tax reform, equity in education, investment in urban areas, access to justice and sensible gun regulations.

He is also a member of the law firm of [Pullman & Comley, LLC] practicing in the areas of business disputes, land use and real estate litigation.

Fairfield County Business Journal recognized Stafstrom as one of the top "40 under 40" business leaders in 2014. The Bridgeport Regional Business Council recognized Stafstrom as the 2016 Regional Impact Legislator of the Year.

Education

Stafstrom received his bachelors degree cum laude from Fairfield University in 2005. He then received his law degree from the Saint Louis University School of Law in 2008 where he was an articles editor of the Saint Louis University Law Journal.
