Avneet Kaur is an Indian television and film actress.[1] Avneet Kaur started her career with Dance India Dance Li'l Masters as a contestant. She also participated in another dance show named Dance Ke Superstars. Kaur made her acting debut with Meri Maa, playing the character Jhilmil. Later, she was part of a comedy series Tedhe Hain Par Tere Mere Hain. In June 2012, she participated in the fifth season of a dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. In 2012, she was seen in Savitri, as young Rajkumari Damyanti and in 2013 as Young Paaki in Ek Mutthi Aasmaan. Kaur started her filming career with the 2014 Hindi film Mardaani with the role of Meera. She then portrayed the role of Khushi in Hamari Sister Didi.

In 2017, she portrayed the role of Princess Charumati in Chandra Nandini.[2] Currently, she is playing the role of Princess Yasmine in SAB TV's Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga.

Career

Avneet began her career with Zee TV's dance showDance India Dance Li'l Masters [3][4] in which she finished in the top three.[5] She then participated in Dance Ke Superstars, where she joined the team of "Dance Challengers".[6] Kaur made her acting debut in 2012 with Life OK's Meri Maa[7] where she played the role of Jhilmil.[6] Thereafter, she was seen in SAB TV's comedy series Tedhe Hain Par Tere Mere Hain.[7] She then participated in the Colors TV's celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa,[7] where she was a contestant with Darsheel Safary. She was eliminated in August.[4][8][9] Later, Kaur was featured in Life OK's Savitri, where she played the role of Rajkumari Damyanti.[3] In August 2013, Kaur played the role of Paaki in Zee TV's Ek Mutthi Aasmaan.[10][11] She also appeared in ZeeQ's news bulletin titled, The Weekly Rap.[5] Kaur has featured in various advertisements including Clinic Plus, Maggi and Lifebuoy Handwash.[5]

Kaur started her filming career in 2014 with Pradeep Sarkar's Mardaani.[6]

In September 2014, she played the role of Khushi in Sony Pal's Hamari Sister Didi.[12][13] In 2017, Kaur played the role of Charumati in Chandra Nandini. Currently she is seen as Princess Yasmine in SAB TV's Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga.
