WTVT is a Fox Broadcasting Company television affiliate station in Tampa, Florida. The station began broadcasting in 1955 on Channel 13 as a CBS affiliate. It was bought out, as were many other stations around the United States, by News Corporation in 1994. "Fox 13" is home to one of the most talented newscast teams in the journalism industry. Its transmitter is located in Riverview, Florida.
