Aimee Baruah (Assamese: আইমী বৰুৱা; born 21 October) is an Assamese actress who acted in many Assamese Cinema and also acted in many VCDs and albums.

Early life and education

Aimee Baruah was born in Nagaon. Her mother's name is Mala Baruah and her father's name is Late Purna Baruah. Her father Purna Baruah was a Police Superintendent. Her name Aimee was given by his father which means Fragrance in French.[1] She did her BA in Economics and also did her MA in Social Works.[1]

Career

Aimee Baruah first appeared in a film named Axomor Sadhu Kotha as Tejimola when she was studying at class 6. Then she was considered to do a film Tumi Mur Mathu Mur but for her too young age she was cancelled. The very next year she got the opportunity to do the film Prem aru Prem at her class 9 and it was her first movie as a lead role.[2] And after that she acted in many VCDs.

Personal life

Aimee Baruah married to politician Pijush Hazarika on 1 October 2011.[3] They have two children.
