Function section

Is copy & paste the way things are usually done? Not entirely identical, but close. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=gene&Cmd=DetailsSearch&Term=4155

Seems curing disease is as fast as hand-pipetting will allow. Someone needs to automate this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shtanto (talkcontribs) 14:23, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If i am not mistaken, the protein crystal structure is wrong. The picture actually shows HLA-DR2 receptor. The referenced PDB file(1BX2) has only a few fragments of MBP (chains C and F) that bind to the alpha helices on the right of the picture. See: http://www.rcsb.org/pdb/explore/explore.do?structureId=1BX2 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 181.167.174.197 (talk) 20:39, 3 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know if should put this here, but I wanted to know the function of this protein, but under "Function" it doesn't really talk about the function of the protein, but it explains how it is transcribed. I would like to know the function of the protein, and what it really does in myelinsheets. Lubberink (talk) 15:18, 22 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Gene Variations

Are there any variants for the gene for myelin?Flaviusvulso (talk) 02:18, 21 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
